About Us

Diamond Valley Toy Library has more than 700 quality toys for children aged 0-6 years. There are puzzles, costumes, construction toys, outdoor toys, imagination toys, science toys, music toys ... you name it, we've got it.

The Diamond Valley Toy Library is located inside the recently renovated Community Room in the Diamond Valley Regional Library, 1 Civic Drive, Greensborough.

There are currently a number of borrowing sessions:

First Tuesday night of every month: 7:30-8:00pm
Friday mornings - 10:30-11:45 am
Saturday mornings - 10:30-11:45 am

Sunday afternoons - 3:30 - 4:45 pm

We are open every week except for summer school holidays.

Members can borrow up to five toys, for three weeks at a time. They are welcome to change some or all of the toys each week.

Grandparents are very welcome to join the toy library, and so are family daycare centres and playgroups.

The toy library is a not-for-profit organisation run by a volunteer committee. We are funded by membership fees, fundraising and grants.

To help keep the toy library running, we ask all our members to complete one roster shift per school term. That's four shifts per year. Roster shifts are a great way to meet other local parents and see what toys are available for borrowing. Kids are always welcome.

Join the Committee

The toy library is run by a volunteer committee of local mums, dads and grandparents. There are some great perks to joining the committee, such as a huge membership fee discount, more toys to borrow each time and being part of a fantastic community of local families. If you'd like to join the committee or come to one of our meetings, simply email us.
